Shift: 8 hours, Monday to Friday
Job Summary
This manufacturing engineering position will be responsible for supporting production systems related to documentation, tools, facility, machinery and assembly. The Manufacturing Engineer will evaluate and implement production methodologies to increase efficiency and will take technical lead on specific projects as defined by the Manufacturing Engineering Lead and Directory of Engineering.
Key Responsibilities

Create training tools, documents, and standard operating procedures for production processes ensuring consistent manufacturability

Work with the design team to create, review and modify any designs to improve manufacturability.

Create and Maintains product and process database by entering data into the ERP package, create/update Bills of Materials and routings.

Maintains updated layout drawings for production areas and overall facility

Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services and maintaining PM schedules.

Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing processes, space requirements, fixtures and layouts.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Qualifications & Experience

BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or equivalent engineering experience

2+ years of engineering experience preferred with mechanical aptitude

CAD software experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent

Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office productivity programs
