Registration Form FOLEY COMPANY, LLC – Limited Warranty Subject to the terms of this Limited Warranty, FOLEY Company LLC (FOLEY) warrants to the initial end user of equipment manufactured by FOLEY, bearing the FOLEY name, and purchased from FOLEY or an authorized FOLEY distributor that such equipment will be free from defects in material and workmanship. This Limited Warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Warranty Period and Registration Requirement Subject to the terms of this Limited Warranty, the Limited Warranty commences on the date that the equipment is delivered to the initial end user. To qualify for a 2-year Limited Warranty, Rollers must be registered with FOLEY online at www.foleyco.com/register within 60 day delivery of the date that the equipment is delivered to the end user. If registration is not completed and on file within such 60 day period, warranty coverage will default to 6 months from the date the equipment is delivered to the initial end user. Warranty Process A written Limited Warranty claim specifically identifying a claimed defect must be received by FOLEY or a FOLEY authorized distributor within 30 days after the discovery of a defect and within the warranty period. This Limited Warranty is conditioned upon the prepaid return of the equipment/part claimed to be defective to FOLEY or an authorized FOLEY distributor for verification of the claimed defect. Returns must be in accordance with a return authorization issued by FOLEY or a FOLEY authorized distributor. Unauthorized returns and returns contrary to a return authorization void the warranty. Not all equipment and parts will require return but equipment and parts in question must be retained and can be required to be returned. Photos, videos and serial numbers on the equipment/parts in question may be required to be supplied to FOLEY. If the claimed defect is verified by FOLEY or its authorized distributor, as the exclusive remedy, FOLEY or its authorized distributor will, at its option, repair or supply replacement parts for the covered defective parts. Replacement equipment and parts may be new or refurbished. Under no circumstance is FOLEY responsible for injury, damage to property, or loss of use. The remainder of the original warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer, will apply to warranty replacement parts. Warranty Exclusions This Limited Warranty does not cover and FOLEY shall have any liability arising in connection with any of the following: • Normal wear items (including grinding wheels, belts, etc.) • Equipment that has been modified • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or careless handling • Improper installation, maintenance, storage or misapplication • Use or substitution of non-FOLEY parts • Noncompliance with operating manuals, including recommended operating instructions • Repairs or modifications performed by anyone other than FOLEY or an authorized FOLEY representative • Rust, abrasion or corrosion • Shipping or freight damage • Damage caused by acts of God, accident or tampering • Any other cause not due to a defect in material or workmanship Further, this Limited Warranty does not cover, and FOLEY shall not be liable for any malfunction, damage or wear caused by the incompatibility of FOLEY equipment with, accessories, equipment or materials not supplied by FOLEY, or the improper design, manufacture, installation, operation or maintenance accessories, equipment or materials not supplied by FOLEY. Non-FOLEY Item Exclusion: FOLEY SELLS “AS IS,” MAKES NO WARRANTY AND DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, IN CONNECTION WITH ACCESSORIES, EQUIPMENT, MATERIALS AND COMPONENTS SOLD BUT NOT MANUFACTURED BY FOLEY. These items sold but not manufactured by FOLEY (including, without limitation, engines (various engines) and compressors (Ingersoll Rand)) are subject to the warranty, if any, of their manufacturer. FOLEY may provide purchaser with reasonable assistance in making any claim for breach of these warranties. Rental and Demo Units: Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, the Limited Warranty for equipment used as a rental or for demonstration purposes, the Limited Warranty periods are as set for the below commencing as of first use of the equipment. Rental units: 90 days Demo units: the remainder of the Limited Warranty period with registration by the end user purchaser required within 60 days of the delivery date to qualify for the remainder of the 2-year warranty to apply. Additional Terms FOLEY reserves the right to make changes in design, construction, and materials without notice. FOLEY is not obligated to retrofit or upgrade equipment previously sold. NO ONE HAS ANY AUTHORITY TO BIND FOLEY TO ANY AFFIRMATION, REPRESENTATION, WARRANTY, LIABILITY OR REMEDY EXCEPT AS STATED HEREIN. Safety: Assure that work practices are in the guidelines of OSHA standards Welders are required to wear safety glasses, safety toed shoes Key Responsibilities Sets up and operates gas welding machine to weld metal parts according to work orders, blueprint layouts and verbal instructions. Regulates flow of gases for proper mixture. Maintains accurate record keeping of settings from precision control panel or power packs for repeat applications. Cleans parts to remover contamination prior to welding. Sets up and operates all phases of applications using clamps, fixtures, and torches working to specified tolerances. Selects proper welding wire, rod, flux, etc. Sets up and operates MIG/TIG welding machines to repair, join, or fabricate parts working with blueprints, sketches or verbal orders.
